4. Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate and timely information. The client is responsible for checking that names, claims, prices and final materials are accurate before publication.

5. Proposals, quotes and payments

Work begins once the service is agreed and payment (or deposit) is completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Project timelines

Timelines are estimates unless a specific written deadline has been agreed. Delays caused by the client may extend the project timeline.

7. Revisions and changes

Reasonable revisions may be included where stated. Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope may be charged separately.

8. Intellectual property

Final approved and paid-for client materials may be used by the client. Draft concepts, unused ideas and internal documents remain the property of Shanco Agency unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Refund & Cancellation Terms

1. Services begin after approval and payment

Once a service has been agreed, approved and paid for, work may begin immediately. This includes research, planning, strategy, writing, design direction and project setup.

2. Immediate work and cancellation

By approving a proposal or making payment, you request Shanco Agency to begin work. Where work begins immediately, the service fee becomes non-refundable once work has started.

3. No refund for change of mind after work starts

If you change your mind after payment and after work has started, you will not be entitled to a refund for work already started, completed or allocated.

4. Third-party costs

Third-party costs (payment provider fees, advertising spend, printing, contractors, etc.) are non-refundable once incurred.

Right to Refuse Services

1. Our right to refuse work

Shanco Agency reserves the right to refuse, pause, cancel or withdraw from a service where we believe it is reasonable or necessary. This includes situations where the client provides false information, requests unlawful or unethical work, is abusive, fails to make payment, or where the project creates legal or reputational risk.

2. No obligation to accept every project

Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote does not mean we are required to accept the project.

Complaints

1. How to make a complaint

If you are unhappy with a service, contact us as soon as possible with your name, business name, contact details, service purchased, date of purchase, a clear explanation of the issue and the outcome you are requesting.

2. Complaint review process

We will acknowledge complaints as soon as reasonably possible and aim to provide a fuller response within 14 business days where possible.

3. Possible outcomes

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer clarification, correction, repeat performance, partial remedy or no further action. Refunds are only considered where appropriate and where required by law.

4. Abusive complaints or communication

We will not tolerate abusive, threatening or aggressive communication. Where communication becomes unreasonable, we may restrict communication, pause the project or end the client relationship.
